Bio-based Pop-up Store in Cēsis, Latvia
During Vidzeme Innovation Week, participants had the opportunity to visit a Bio-based Pop-up Store, with products from all over Europe. Entry was free of charge.
What was inside?
Visitors were able to discover a variety of fascinating innovations:
- Dresses, t-shirts, scarfs and shoes made from wood, algae, citrus residues, milk protein, coffee compounds or even roses
- Food made with insects, mealworm powder, crickets and algae
- Paper and packaging made of agricultural waste, mushrooms or grass
- Cosmetic products with ingredients such as roses or snail extract
- ….and many more
