In order to ensure that BE-Rural outputs link closely to ongoing policy debates, two project conferences, targeted to relevant regional stakeholders and EU policy-makers were organised online and in person to discuss existing policy gaps and the measures adopted during the project to address them.
The two project events also served to communicate the results, spread the knowledge of the potential the European regions have and what has been reached during the project. Another event, a breakout session co-organised with the peer EU project POWER4BIO during the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2020 helped as well explore how local bioeconomies can be a vector contributing to an economic rebound in a post-COVID-19 society.
