Dates and times:
13:30-17:00, Monday 29 June 2020
9:30-17:00, Tuesday, 30 June 2020
9:30-17:00, Wednesday, 1 July 2020
9:30-12.30, Thursday 2 July 2020

Location: University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland

Aim of the summer school: In order to facilitate further learning and wider multiplier effects (i.e. reaching a wider audience than those attending individual events), BE-Rural will organise a summer school for teachers interested in developing curricula and educational material on sustainability and the bioeconomy. The summer school is primarily targeted at teachers from BE-Rural’s OIP regions, but participation is open to a limited number of teachers from other moderate/modest innovator regions. We hope that the people selected to attend the teachers’ summer school may be willing to be involved in educational events on the respective OIP regions afterwards (although this is not compulsory). The summer school will include both theoretical and practical classes, with presentations from practitioners, and a field trip to a relevant project.

Language: The summer school will be held in English.
